All -

On March 6, 2017, we will have our last show for a while.  Your producer, editor, and host needs to spend more time on other passions for some time.  Keep watching Classic Doctor Who - and try to watch with your friends.  Take care and God Bless!

In Part 4 of Frontios, so much needed to happen, including that necessity of the TARDIS coming back together (which turns out to be a McGuffin!)  But as always, Jeff, Felicity and Josh remind you to watch to story before you listen to a silly commentary from a group of Doctor Who fans.

As the entertainment of Frontios comes to a conclusion, just do us a favor, and don't mention that we were ever here.

As Frontios Part 3 gets started - it's TRACTATORS!  Though not mentioned, it seems like that name came as a result of Tractors and Potatoes.  Not so much to Turlough who is staring into space and drooling like a mad dog.  Jeff, Felicity and Josh make the best of this by showing faith in Deaths Unaccountable - and wonder why this was so important that Tegan had to mention that to every character she came into contact with...

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 90, Frontios Part 2

As Part 2 begins, Felicity wants to know what happened with the TARDIS, Josh wants to understand about Tegan's leather skirt, and Jeff just wants to be Felicity.  While we all decided to Cosplay as drunken Convention goers at Gally, should we consider Brazen as an option?

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 89, Frontios Part 1

Jeff and Felicity joins Josh again with a perhaps underrated Peter Davison story: Frontios.  It is likely that there will be a fair amount of discussion about battery acid, Turlough saliva and wood lice.  But then again, that's the High Council for you.

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 88, The Twin Dilemma Part 4

Well, this is the end of The Twin Dilemma, whether you like it or not.  Steve is egging on Sean, and Sean feels egged on.  It is only fitting that things have deteriorated as they have in the podcast, while we watch the ending of Colin Baker's debut story.  So while we provide gardening tips, what is the best coffee, and whether it was intentional that Edgeworth has the hair of the 1st Doctor.  Sean is lying down.  That is likely best.  Just remember, next week, better story.

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 87, The Twin Dilemma Part 3

Well, things are going further downhill, as Sean begins to talk of what makes Podcast Code (or Gold).  We are not friendly to Nicola's acting here leading into Part 3, and despite this - we press on by attempting to speak about other topics vs the actual episode itself.  Again, this is why The High Council is different every week, and perhaps the fact that everyone has been podcasting for approximately 4 hours by this time has effected the behavior.  Oh, yeah - we also talk about Colin Baker's cat pins.

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 86, The Twin Dilemma Part 2

**Disclaimer: This podcast contains a fair amount of bile spewed, and if you are sensitive to such spewing, you will not enjoy this episode**

A bump? A bump? What is the Doctor referring to here? As Part 2 gets started, Sean is trying to get a story out and Steve and Josh won’t let him. We debate the presence of two twin boys vs twin girls. Why did they give Colin Baker the final story of Peter Davison’s last season? Did this work? Why is Peri’s skirt green?

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 85, The Twin Dilemma Part 1

Well, it has come to this.  Enough drooling over some of Doctor Who's best.  The TARDIS Tavern boys Sean and Steve join Josh to raise a glass to Colin Baker's debut story "The Twin Dilemma".  How much Whiskey does one need to appreciate this episode 1?  What is the mysterious thing about the twin boys that we cannot figure out?  Will the hosts feeling like choking each other by the time it's done?  Please enjoy this delving into the dark side of Who Commentaries.

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 84, Kinda Part 4

What a Bigly episode we have for you today! Kinda Part 4! We all agree that Janet Fielding took Part 3 off and was a means to an end. But Kyle looks into the box and loses his mind and drops apples on our heads. So enjoy the podcast while Erik explains all of the excesses of the colonizers and how Deva Loka must be the center of the universe. Aris has voice and so do we dammit. As we play around with current politics a bit, and wonder if we can mend people, we enjoy the craziness of Hindle and actually do a fair amount of laughing that you wouldn’t expect in this story.

Please listen to Kyle and Erik's fantastic podcast about the Writers of the Classic Series of Doctor Who:

Doctor Who - The High Council Episode 83, Kinda Part 3

This week we are going to open Erik’s box or Hindle will have us SHOT! In the box, we realize that it is clearly a tourist promotional video for coming to Deva Loka (in an Australian accent). But as Erik, Kyle and Josh proceed through Kinda Part 3, we all agree wholeheartedly that the Doctor should be a Gallifreyan and not a normal human male. We do however take acting points from Matthew Waterhouse who is obviously teaching us and Richard Todd how to act when you are not speaking in a scene. So we learn how to not-mime, and we enjoy the idea of recalibrating the Davison companions in a total ret-con. Josh had to bring up The Daemons and we seize the “not-we”. Enjoy!
